The Animas Museum will be closed until further notice.

This is not a decision we have made lightly. However, due to recent events we have decided to make this decision for the public good. In 1918, the Animas City School shut its doors for a time amid the influenza outbreak that ravaged our area. A century later we have taken these lessons to heart, and are now taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of locals and visitors alike by trying to curb the spread of this new disease to our country before it becomes a major issue. We will update this website when we are able to re-open safely.

In the meantime, visit our new online exhibits.
