Next Steps
The work on the dress replica was interrupted by the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020 as the Museum was closed to the public and material costs skyrocketed. We hope to revisit the project in the future.
In June of 2021, we held a "Members Only" event outside at the Museum called "The Wedding of the Century." At this event, we displayed the dress mockup, a list of wedding gifts, a few other related artifacts and played a video of a reenactment of the wedding done by the Victorian Aid Society.
