Southwest Colorado 250-150 Girl Scout Patch

To earn a Southwest Colorado 250-150 patch, complete at least 3 activities from the following list:

• Visit a place listed for at least 4 counties in the passport and read about and complete the activities related to the two local Ute tribes.
• Use the Sing Colorado! Toolkit to create a musical performance and learn about its connection to Colorado.
• Attend a concert related to Sing Colorado! You can find events through this calendar


• Visit a history museum in one of the 8 counties in our region: Archuleta, Dolores, Hinsdale, La Plata, Ouray, Montezuma, San Juan, or San Miguel
• Keep an eye out for the “Moments That Made US” exhibit
• The Animas Museum in La Plata County has field trip programming, worksheets for kids, or even hands-on activity programming that can be arranged. See their website and reach out for details!


• Participate in a book club with a book from this reading list - there are suggested books for kids at the bottom!
• Participate in a local parade - you can track local events through this calendar
