I Spy With My Little Eye . . .
There are several versions of a children's game called I Spy. For this version of I Spy, children are divided into two teams. To start the game, one person says, "I spy, with my little eye, something that begins with the letter ____." A person on the opposing team must locate the item that begins with that letter and then spell its name correctly. Teams receive one point for each correct answer. When each child has given a word to another player to spell and has also spelled a word himself or herself, the points are tallied. The team with the most points wins the game.
